Happy Mother’s Day
Posted by Caveman Cooking on May 9, 2010
To my wife, my mom, my mother-in-law, my grandmother, my step-mother, and to all the mom’s reading this, we wish you the very happiest of Mother’s Days. And, share with each of you the sentiments expressed on the Cavekids’ card to their mom, the Cavewoman.
Of course, the culinary concerns of the day are planned and ready to go:
Breakfast – Eggs benedict with tomato slices or, for the carni-crowd, crab cakes; Cavetaters; and Cheese-Filled Coffee Crumb Cake served with fresh Strawberries.
Lunch – We’ll go a bit lighter with fresh Steamed Artichokes.
Dinner – King Crab Risotto (the veggie version for Cavewoman); Caramelized Pear Salad with Goat Cheese and Cavinaigrette; and, knowing my wife, more of that delicious Coffee Cake for dessert.
Hope your Mom’s Day is filled with fun, frolic and flavor!

That menu sounds fabulous. Eggs Benedict are my absolute favorite. What a beautiful card.
