C3TV: Caramelized Pear Salad
Posted by Caveman Cooking on December 30, 2011
If I could choose to have only one salad for the rest of my life, this would be it! It’s a flavor explosion that goes well along side any number of dishes. This salad actually incorporates three different recipes, so it’s a bit more labor intensive than most of the concoctions you find here. But, man, is it worth it! Try it and you’ll be hooked, too!!

Another great episode, Mark. Never knew that you had an evil “twin”, at least you got the looks and brains, ha ha.
Do you have the recipes written down somewhere for after watching the video? I want to try that vinaigrette as a marinade for beef cubes sometime.

Thank you, Chris! Yeah, my evil alter ego rears his ugly head on occasion. 😆
All of the recipes featured on C3TV have their “written” equivalent here on the site. The Cavinaigrette can be found here: https://cavemancooking.wordpress.com/2009/11/23/cavinaigrette/
P.S. – Thanks for the share on StumbleUpon!

We need a Cracklin recipe!

That’s an easy one, Rusty! Slice up some pork fat, fry it in oil until crisp, drain well, and salt and pepper to taste.

That was awesome. I can’t wait to try it. Looks like you’re cook’n at the cabin this year!

Thanks, Santa Barbara! I’ll be bringing the bread, plus … ??? 😉
