About
Hi! I’m Caveman. I like to cook. But, I’m lazy, too. So, I don’t like to make things too complicated. Over the years I’ve developed some dishes that are simple to make, yet still leave everybody yearning for more. Each recipe here is so easy to make that any guy, gal, or even caveman, can do it. Check back every couple of days or so to find something new to tickle your taste buds, while still keeping your “Caveman” or “Cavewoman” status intact.
FYI, I use two sources for my spices, seasonings and rubs. One is World Spice Merchants. A Seattle based company located just below world famous Pike’s Place Market. They also sell all their goods via their website, WorldSpice.com. They do business the old fashioned way – no credit cards! They ship your order with an invoice and expect a check to be sent upon receipt. How cool is that?!? And, if you happen to be in the area just a stroll into their shop is a treat for the olfactory senses.
The other source is Texas Select Seasonings. Located in Santa Fe, Texas (of course), they’ve spent the last 20 years perfecting spice blends and fresh salsas for family barbecues, competition and special events. They claim their products have “A Taste as Bold as Texas™” and will add a unique flavor to any entree … I agree!
When I’m not cooking, I’m doing voice overs (UHearMe.com). I also love guitars, fishing, poker, golf, skiing … and my wife and kids!
If you have a Caveperson-friendly recipe you’d like to share, let me know. I’ll be glad to let you post it on here, providing it passes muster with the C3 staff (ie. I have to try it!).
P.S. – We are NOT Paleo! We have been “Caveman Cooking”, and on the internet, long before that particular food fad started!!
